This week we have a few photos from the Celebrate SS evening program. We had a table with display panel (low tech) and PowerPoint presentation (high tech for Ruth). You may have noticed that a number of our ABF members are active as teachers. Some of them serve during our class time and others served during the second hour. Click the images to get a larger view A couple of them were also honored as long time servants in the SS programs. Nancy got a 40 year award. Nancy and Roger were both surprised by this and had guessed other names. Remember this isn’t necessarily for the longest serving teacher but is an award given in 5 or 10 year increments. So, there are certainly others who have served longer. Joyce Reese also received a 10 year award. Our cookie bakers should note that we did have plenty; enough that we gave a care package to one of our Shepherds guys. We will add a link to the message Dennis will give at the Cedarville Chapel on the Ethics of Homosexuality. You can expect that...

MISSION REPORT We had a very nice report from RosaLinda about her mission trip to Mexico with a Cedarville MIS Team. Praise the Lord for the fruits of her trip. It sounds like it was a very successful trip with several professions of faith and a couple baptisms. I learned something new about RosaLinda. How many of you knew she sings and plays the keyboard? We have talent in our midst! There was one serious mishap when a student (Dan) had a spinal injury and is currently hospitalized in Chicago. You can follow his progress as we pray for him at his blog http://checkinondan.blogspot.com/ RosaLinda also passed on a few photos of her experiences. At the right are some new friends and below is the baptism service. The missionaries reported some fantastic ongoing results after the team returned to Cedarville: In addition to our weekly after-school bible study, the high school guys have expressed interest in a bi-weekly morning meeting to pray and praise God together.yes, it was actually the...

We had several visitors including friends of the Copelands. Class Study Topics Dennis finished our discussion on Matthew 5 this Sunday. Matt. 5:43-48 -- “You have heard 'love your neighbors and hate your enemies' but I say Love your Enemies.” We prioritized several topics for future discussion concerning Christian Ethics. The first area we will discuss will be End-of-Life Ethics We decided we need to do this now to be sure it is finished before we are! :-) This fall we will study Evangelism . Dates to Remember March 25 at 6PM is Celebrate SS. We will have a table to tell others about our class. We need help to do this and also we should have food items for the table. April 28th we will have a dinner with Larry and Bev Smith (missionaries to Nicaragua – and Ambassadors ABF members). The Darkows have offered their ...

We met with the class next to ours (Journey ABF) to fellowship and have breakfast together. I think everyone enjoyed both the food and the fellowship. Everyone lined up to get their food It is always fun to eat and fellowship Joel Harbaugh was our Master of Ceremonies
