Thanks to Sandy for keeping up with the prayer requests and notes while Nancy and I were away for a week and extended weekend. Prayer List: It was great to hear that Jerry is recovered enough to be back with us this Sunday. Keep praying for his full recovery. This is the week-end for Week-end of Champions so please pray for that. Several members of our class are going (Paul, Roger B, Lou, Rudy, Hallie, Jim W). We are rejoicing in that our friend made back into Vietnam safely but continue to pray as the for his continued safety. Pray for Todd and Dawn because quite a few people of faith have been expelled from China. Jan Rakestraw, who is known to many in our class, will have back surgery on the 25th. Judy and Steve have departed for the Middle East. Please pray about their trip and that they will be a real encouragement to family there. I am always at a loss for words for describing the experiences of our ABF! Today is no exception. Anyone who missed our ABF and the services today really missed a truly fantastic experience. We were blessed! Although we had several members away, we still had good attendance. I counted 46. BTW: How many of you have figured out who our “Guess Who” person of the week is? It is time for the third (and perhaps the last) installment of our "Guess Who" series. This one should be easy for some of you but impossible for others. Guess Who! Remember! Since we did not have our ABF time this past Sunday this update will be shorter than normal. However, I did want to get something out to remind everyone of the prayer items and a few special dates. Prayer Requests: Continue to pray for Jerry S. He is home but still needs prayer for continued improvement. Pray for his caregiver, Clara, too! Judy R. will be going to visit Tom and Susie soon with her son, Steve. Pray for their travel and time there. Keith and Maxine’s son, Caleb, is considering continuing his education to get his ThM degree. This will take two more years. He want’s clear leading of the Holy Spirit and a peace about this decision. Will D’s Daugher, Tabby, is having problems in her pregnancy and needs prayer. She may be scheduled for a C-Section, soon. Bob and Diane S’s son-in-law’s mother died suddenly. Pray for Brian and Emily as they travel and for their loss. His mother probably was not a Christian.
