Happy Valentines Day!

Even though this is a day when we should remember and pay tribute to our sweethearts, I believe we should also remember the one who loved us so much that He gave his only son so that we might live eternally with Him.


Co-Laborers/Ambassador Luncheon


I think it is fair to state that this event last Sunday was a resounding success. There was plenty of great food and fellowship to go around. Thanks to the Co-Laborers for suggesting this event and inviting us to participate.

Anne Wamsley also prepared a special Valentines Day PowerPoint for us to show during the lunch time.

After the time of feeding our faces and enjoyable fellowship across the table, Nancy and Larry Allen shared something from their hearts with us. It was great to have them around for the weekend.

This past weekend was a great one. We all had a good time of fun and fellowship together Saturday evening as we gathered for our annual Christmas celebration. The food was way to plentiful and good! I know I am not the only one to over-eat! I think it was John who is the new owner of the golden goose! But this wasn’t the only weird gift to be won. Ask Rosalinda about her jeans! These photos were provided by Bob Lawson. Thank you Bob! Can you believe, I didn’t even bring a camera? Many thanks to Mark Averitt also; for arranging for the Community Center for our use. It was perfect for our needs. Sunday was also another good time together as a class. John and Sandy gave us a “ Long and Short of it ” showing of their trip to Israel. Ambassadors ABF Notes for May 20th

Naiya Symone Simpson This Sunday was a little different for us; two weeks in a row, now. Dennis is still under the weather with a chest cold or something giving him pain. Please pray for him. Last Sunday we were fortunate to have Larry Smith give us an update taking most of our class time. This week, we spent the majority of the time doing prayer requests and praying. I think these times are especially good and they are pleasing to our Lord. I know I personally get more out of a prayer time like this. Anyway, instead of our normal dog on pony show with myself, John, and Roger Brandt plus Dennis before you, everyone was stuck with the dog, ME! Visitor We had a long distance visitor with us this Sunday. His name is Charles. He is an ESOL Student of Barb Sullivan’s and comes all the way from North Central China. Ambassadors Class Game Night (05/09/2008)

Friday evening, May 9th, we had a game night in the church for our class. We all played table games and ate snack foods. I would have liked to see more in attendance but I know that this Mother’s day weekend may have posed problems for some. As you can see from the photos below, we played a variety of games. Good times for fellowship and discussion. But, someone must be the expert to explain the rules. Hmmm, looks like our lawyer is examining the evidence! Watch out! This one will hurt! Hey!
